All week we had been meaning to go to the San Diego Comic-Con. today was our last day of vacation, and it was the last day of comic-con. We drove the short drive downtown, then parked a distance from the convention center, and took another pedi-cab up to the event. We rode thru the famous historical Gaslamp district. Looked ok, but lots of empty storefronts. Some cool looking bars and stores. Fantastic old buildings in San Diego, I hope they don't tear them "all" down to build skyscrapers.

The comic book convention was fun, hot & crowded. Lots of people attended in wacky costumes. We found ourselves buying music CD's rather than comic books. We really didn't have enough time to see the whole exhibit floor, I'd say we saw about 2/3 of it. Click to enlarge

I brought home about 50 pounds of free swag (comic books, postcards, stickers) to give my clients at work. I snapped a lot of photos of large displays, and Godzilla toys for sale. Click to enlarge
