Dean & Nancy's 10th Annual Honeymoon

We started by taking the 166 thru farmland
toward the coast, stopped in a town called Cuyama for refreshment. This
old signage caught my eye, and yes, it was still a beauty shop. We arrived
at the Pismo Beach Spyglass hotel, and
the photo galleries start there.
from Pismo, we drove up the 101, hwy 17, and 280 toward San Francisco... so many photos in SF that there are two galleries ... SF1 and SF2
the we headed over to Gilroy and Bonfante Gardens
then
down the Coast Hwy to Morro Bay, Stopped
at Ragged Point and Gaviota. Ragged Point was special because we also
stopped there on our 1997 anniversary trip to Monterey....
I dropped my camera in the surf at Gaviota, and while the camera freaked out, it took one this one last photo on its own. it also took a short movie, haha.
... we sat in an santa barbara traffic jam, and took the 126 thru more orchards, toward home
we stayed at home a day,
then spent a night at the Howard
Johnson Anaheim
and an evening at Disneyland :)
it was an excellent vacation!
